A “GITE” NEAR AGEN IN A GREEN ARBOUR At only 7km from Agen and 2 km from Foulayronnes, our “gîte” has the advantage of being aside the main road (RN21) in a quiet forested area. Agen can be reached easily by air (from Paris) by TGV as well as by motorway. The town 35000 inhabitants offers all trades, restaurants, cinema and theater. The” gîte” is the result of the renovation of the outbuildings of an ancient stone walled farm of the 18th century. It provides every modern convenience including floor-heating and air conditioning in the bedrooms. TRADES AND LEISURE At Foulayronnes (2km) supermarket, chemist’s, hairdresser’s, restaurant, dentist, doctor, hospital. In Agen hypermarkets, all trades, cinema, theater. On site you can play table tennis and there is a crossbeam with a swing and a toboggan for children. At Foulayronnes there are tennis courts and nearby a lake for fishing. At Pont-du-Casse (5km) horse riding, at Bon –Encontre and Agen golf links (9holes). Swimming pool in Agen and Aquatic Park in Nérac (30km). Leisure Park WALIBI at Roquefort (10km). 150km along the canal (10’) for cycling or jogging. CONVENIENCES American style kitchen with extractor fan and CMV, fridge with deep freezing cabinet, 4 burner cooker (3 gas and 1 electric) microwave oven, oven , dishwasher, vacuum cleaner , iron and several electric household appliances. The washing machine is in the shower room upstairs. There are two highchairs and a cot. Bed linen and towels are provided. TV, DVD reader, mini hifi system, games and books in French and English. DESCRIPTION AND FURNITURE --The living room: In addition to the American style kitchen, the living room is a dining room with a table for six (+ highchair)and on a lower level a sitting room recess with a fireplace (firewood offered), a bed –settee and armchairs. --The air-conditioned bedrooms:They are on the first floor on each side of a mezzanine: one with a double bed and one with twin beds. There is also a cot and a folding cot (if necessary). The bed linen is provided and the beds will be made for your arrival. --The shower room:There is a shower, a double washbasin and a washing machine. A baby bath and a swaddling mattress are available. The towels are provided. --Toilets: There is one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. --The garden: The two terraces (one facing south of 30m2 and one roofed and cool in summer of 25m2) open into the 500m2 closed arbored garden. Table and armchairs, parasol, barbecue, clothes lines, crossbeam with swing and toboggan, tennis table. There is a private remote-controlled gate.
