Gîtes du Château de Chanzé

At the heart of the Loire Valley, in the department of Maine et Loire, the Château de Chanzé is located on the edge of the Layon. In this small castle, whose name is found in the eleventh century, now restored in Renaissance style, has experienced several lords. Henri IV, then king of Navarre and visit his friend Jacques du Bellay, spent a night, March 25, 1576. On this magnificent historic estate, you will find four houses (4 to 7 people), 4 guest rooms, a restaurant all built around a beautiful heated pool (May-October) The rooms and cottages have been restored in the ancient castle and have kept their authenticity keeping their old stone walls and beams. You will find comfort and relaxation and a warm welcome to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you wish to, you can enjoy one or more nights at the castle. The guest rooms of the castle are comfortable and very spacious with authentic decoration: terracotta floors, exposed beams, high ceilings and thick walls, furniture of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries Breakfast is served in the huge hall of the castle or the beautiful park along the river "Layon". We are putting at your disposal all the property, for a weekend to celebrate your special event (wedding, birthday, Christmas or otherwise). The entire site includes the hire of the castle in its entirety as well as four lodges and four cottages, which makes a total of 50 beds. Located in the countryside with no close neighbors around, you can party without restriction of hours. Prices weekends free management: € 2500 (which amounts to 25 € per person per night (if you're 50). This price includes towels provided, beds made at your arrival and the consumption of water and electricity.
