Brin de Cocagne

After phylloxera decimated the French vines, this old wine farm from the beginning of the 19th century became a farm equipped with a stable and an equestrian arena.

In 2016, the farm was transformed into a guest house called Brin de cocagne.

Today, this property in the heart of 2ha of meadow where many species of trees have replaced the vine is a family house of character appreciated for its calm and authenticity.

15 mins from Albi (Episcopal City of Albi listed as a World Heritage Site since 2010), and Gaillac and its vineyards, 50 mins from Toulouse, both far enough away and very close to the unmissable tourist sites of the Tarn.

Here we take the time to live! You will become lover of SLOW TOURISM, the time of a romantic getaway, a cocooning weekend. Come and discover our four elegant and comfortable rooms, our park and its natural swimming pool in its green setting, lined with rushes and flowers which will bring you a feeling of softness and well-being during your bathing and thus enjoy the sweetness of live in Occitania.

 BRIN DE COCAGNE IS OPEN FROM APRIL 1st TO NOVEMBER 15th

The configuration of the BRIN DE COCAGNE is suitable for children over 15 years old.

Due to its configuration (bedrooms upstairs), 

Brin de cocagne cannot accommodate people with reduced mobility.

Pets are not allowed in the establishment.

Breakfast (included in the price of the room)

Breakfasts are served according to the seasons and the weather, on the terrace in front of the house, under the hayloft, in front of the bread oven or in the dining room, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am.

 Guest table 

At Brin de cocagne, the dishes offered are simple, balanced and full of flavors according to the seasons, market products or local producers. Particular attention is also paid to the decoration of the table that Elisabeth likes to set according to the seasons, the dishes and her inspiration of the moment, the Art of the table having been her profession.

Wine, one of our common passions, is in the spotlight at Brin de cocagne, in particular Gaillac and Côtes du Tarn, of which we will make you discover some pearls.

Our  guest table  welcomes you every day during the months of June, July, August.

Outside these months, the Guest table will be proposed to you on Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
Reservation requested for the guest table 24 hours in advance.

According to the season and the weather, this one could be located on the terrace in front of the house, under the hayloft, in front of the bread oven or in the dining room.
