Situated in the calm of a small village at the heart of the Marais Poitevin, Marie-Yolande et Eric Piffeteau are pleased to welcome you to their Bed and Breakfast in a traditional house dating from 1880.The accommodation provided is in an annex which was restored in 1997. The Bed and Breakfast has been awarded 3 épis ('ears of wheat') by Gîte de France. Guests have a separate entrance and use of a guest lounge. There is an enclosed garden and private parking. Marie Yolande serves home made jams with breakfast in the dining room, which is equipped with a small corner kitchen and refrigerator for the guests use. The property is well situated to explore the beautiful national park of the Marais Poitevin. The abbeys of Maillezais and Nieul sur l'Autise are within 6km (4miles); at Maillezais and many other local canal ports you can take a trip on the waterways of the 'Green Venice' or hire bikes to see the countryside. The beautiful sandy beaches of the Vendée and the famous spectacle at Puy du Fou are under 60km (40 miles) away; Futuroscope is 80km (50 miles)
