Located is in the heart of a quiet and picturesque Medieval village, relax in a house of charm and character, part of the ancient walls of the Xll century village ramparts, with a beautiful view over the valley from our sunny terrace.
Beautiful 5 rooms (up to 15 guests) with private modern bathrooms, including a suite for 6 people and an apartment (self-catering) with a sunny courtyard.
A cozy guest lounge/dining room leading to a sunny furnished terrace, and a large sunny garden.
5 beautiful spacious rooms. Prices from 70€ to 90€ per couple (extra beds € 20 each. Babies under 3 years old free.
Christina offers bedrooms with breakfast.
Picnics by reservation:
10€ each. Children under 12 years old 8€
Evening meals, by reservation,
30€ each. Children under 12 years old 15€.
Cuxac-Cabardes, is in the foothills of the Moutain Noire in the Aude, just above the vineyards, close to a national park with spectacular scenery, beautiful ancient woods and forests with many walks. There are beautiful mountain lakes, where you can relax and swim. So take some time and some wine and enjoy a picnic by the waters edge. With mysterious the Cathar castles it is perfect for a night, a weekend or a week away. There are Roman/medieval heritage elegant, landscapes, the canal du Midi and beautiful waterways, and ‘La Cite’ the medieval city Carcassonne, plus the best wines and food in France. This area of France has many marvelous surprises, it isn’t as well known as Provence, that adds to its charm and it is well worth investigation. Open All Year.

charming, clean, good location
Our stay at Chez Providence was lovely. the room was even nicer than it looked on the internet, the decor was very authentic and atmospheric. We had dinner on our first night and Christina is a wonderful cook and very informative about the area. We were delighted with the view of the trees to the back, there are no other houses behind it so it overlooks nature and the river is right behind, the sound of the river in the evening was very relaxing. Would highly recommend. Thanks!
