ASKAS PENSION

The familial Askas Pension proposes rooms in Amorgos and tavern. It is surrounded by a rich garden is located behind the main beach of Aegiali and 5 minutes walk from the port.
Recognized as a 1st category Pension, Askas offers 18 furnished rooms which have double, triple and quadruple bedrooms to serve every need.
Askas Pension, with a low price policy, proposes to our guests several qualitative facilities such as the tasteful dishes of Mrs Evdokia and typical greek live music at our tavern, but also car rental to explore the island and scuba diving – Amorgos diving center (owned by our family and housed in our site). For those who wish to gain a more natural experience our family also owned the Aegiali Camping with all the necessary facilities and located near by the pension.

With our 30 years of experience, Askas Pension is ideal for family holidays. Surrounded by trees and spacious gardens, Askas offers safe and enjoyable areas for game playing activities or to relax. Askas family and its kind staff believe in a friendly and open communication with their guests to make them feel like home.

Accomodation
Our rooms in Amorgos offers all best comforts, room facilities but also contact with nature, you will enjoy a wonderful relaxing stay in our traditional rooms. All the rooms overlook on the garden, the sea or the surrounding villages in the mountains. They have air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, wireless internet, fridge, private bathroom, balcony (1st floor) or big veranda (on the ground floor). On both floors, there are double, triple and quadruple rooms so as to serve every need.
Comfortable, peaceful and with direct access to the beautiful beach of Aegiali, Askas Pension is a perfect place for families, couples but also friends groups. Your stay in one of Askas room will be memorable. Guests’ needs and satisfaction are our main priority and moreover to built friendly and trustful relations.

Facilities
In our rooms in Amorgos, our first priority is your pleasant accommodation and good quality service. The reception is open from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm and if your arrival is in late night hours, there is always someone to serve you. We can arrange your transportation. Our private mini bus and our driver is always available for your transfert from and to the port. (Rates: from/to Aegiali port is free of charge, from/to katapola port is 5 euros per person)
Furthermore, we provide the possibility of car rental (Evdokia's rent a car, family business), scuba diving – Amorgos diving center (family business located in our place).
Finally, all the hours you can enjoy the view of the entire Aegiali bay from the specially shaped top floor terrace (roof garden) where there is a buffet for breakfast during the high season.

Restaurant Askas

Mrs Evdokia and the friendly staff welcome you in the Askas tavern that is part of the family business Askas Pension and Aegiali Camping. Our tavern is located in an environment surrounded by lush green trees and vines. There you can find tradition and good food.
In our familial restaurant you will discover tasteful amorgian dishes prepared with local products: oil, wine, psimeni raki (amorgian drink – raki boiled with honey, cinnamon and spices), xinomyzithra (amorgian soft cheese), vegetables but also meat. You won’t forget the Amorgian specialties such as "Fava" (local yellow peas crushed in puree with fresh lemon juice and onions) or "Patatato" (local goat meat and potatoes cooked in tomato sauce with red wine and cinnamon). While we are preparing classical Aegean dishes or pasta or other kinds of sweets like "xerotigana" and "pasteli" (amorgian traditional sweets), our main priority is the quality of materials and better service.
Our tavern is open from early in the morning so you can enjoy a delicious breakfast: omelette made by Mrs. Evdokia, amorgian homemade jams and pies (cheese pie, onion pie, etc). Here you will definitely enjoy what we call hospitality but also entertainment by discovering the typical greek nights atmosphere with "rembetiko" and amorgian live music and dances.

Evdokia's Car & Bike Rental

In order to cover your need for transportation during your vacation, our company manages a fleet of 30 cars and 10 125c.c. scooters. Renting a mean of transportation is the best choice for someone who wants to explore and discover Amorgos. Our office is located at the centre of the Aegiali settlement and is open daily from 9 o'clock in the morning until 9 o'clock in the evening with our people always ready and willing to assist you.
