THEOPHANO ART HOTEL

The name Theophano Art Hotel is an expression of the fact that, apart from wishing to create a unique environment for our guests, we also wanted to display our family collection of art and antique furniture, lovingly hand picked on our travels in Greece and abroad during the last twenty years. The collection ties in wonderfully with the buildings, and invites our guests to enjoy it both in their rooms and the hotel’s common areas. Common Areas We envisioned a hotel where our quests’ stay is not limited to their rooms, but extended to spacious common areas. Thus, the Theophano Art Hotel offers wonderful halls and balconies overlooking the Myrtoo Sea, where guests may enjoy their breakfast, or a coffee or drink later in the day. The main dining room is dominated by a centrepiece monastery table, but there are also several separate lounges with fireplaces, and vaulted alcoves where guests may play board games, read, use the internet or view the artwork on display. All these spaces are also available for hire, and can accommodate a wide range of events, both organised and impromptu! Each room a different experience No two rooms are the same at the Theophano Art Hotel, making every stay a whole new experience for our guests, no matter how many times they return. The rooms differ both in terms of architecture, i.e. views, orientation, size, balcony, etc, and of decoration and furnishings, selected to reflect, complement and bring out the particular features of the architecture of each room. There is no mass produced furniture here, such as those encountered in most hotels, but one-of-a-kind antiques and works of art, all part of a collection that unfolds across the hotel. In surroundings like these, guests forget that they are in a hotel room as they find themselves immersed in the inimitable quality of a mansion house. Homemade Greek breakfast The Greek breakfast offered complements the inherent warmth of the Theophano Art Hotel, with products from the Laconian region that travel no longer than an hour to reach our breakfast table. Breakfast is prepared daily in the open-plan kitchen next to the dining room, especially for each guest. Products vary depending on the season and availability.
