Le Nid à Bibi

You shall be staying in a typical Bresse farmhouse which has been completely renovated and refurbished into a high class B&B. You’ll appreciate the impeccably kept premises and relaxing quiet of the place as well as the warm welcome by the owner. The Nid à Bibi boasts five spacious and comfortable rooms, each tastefully furnished and decorated in its own style. Your favorite animal is accepted in the rustic room only. The bedrooms all have their en-suite bathroom (whirlpool bath in number 1). You’ll also have at your disposal not only the sunny dining room (seating up to 15 people)and the cosy living room with its open fire place as well as the terrasses with lounge chairs and other garden furniture, but also two tennis courts and fitness equipment, the indoor heated swimming pool and the sauna, a ping pong table and bicycles. All of it available any time you wish. So you can have a quick swim before crossing the courtyard to the dining room for a delicious breakfast/brunch. Restored and full of energy, you’ll go out to visit the attractive Ain region with, among other things, the high gothic church of Brou and royal monastery, the medieval city of Pérouges and Châtillon sur Chalaronne, or the ornithological park in Villars-les-Dombes, one of the most important in Europe. You can have bicycles to go for long rides to discover many natural ponds with interesting flora and animal life, and – very near the Nid à Bibi – a small lake dedicated entirely to water skiing. If you are a golfer you’ll really be happy, as there are a number of excellent beautifully kept golf courses in the area nearby. In the evening, after a full day, you can enjoy dinner at the Nid a Bibi with the other guests and taste some of Bibi’s home-cooked meals based on garden vegetables and local specialties. Of course, if you wish to partake in one of her delicious meals, you will have to let her know in advance.
