If you choose to spend your vacation on the small, picturesque island in the Dodecanese, Lipsi, you will com across our small establishment “MICHALIS STUDIOS” Our establishment is situated just a few meters away from the port of Lipsi, next to the municipal, public park and comprises of 7 air studios of which each can accommodate two or three persons and with a private balcony and view towards the port and the village. Each studio is equipped with kitchen facilities and equipment, a fridge, a television set, hair blowdryer, iron and air conditioning.They are cleaned and cared for daily so as to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. The nearest beach, Liendou, is only 200 meters away from our establishment while the municipal information office, taxi station, mini bus stop, from which municipal public transport is available for other crystal beaches situated further away, are all just a few meters away. Within a small walking distance there is a bank and all other services offered on the island such as the traditional ouzeri, cafes, and tavernas which locals and visitors both enjoy and often mingle to become a single friendly group as the beautiful evening wears on tasting the homemade traditional mezedes and fragrant ouzo. LIPSI Lipsi is a small island and has 21 sq. kilometers, situated between Leros and Patmos, it is ideal for quiet holidays. It has single village which is built on a low hill around the port.Many of the islands services are to be found around the square of the village. There you will come across the main church, Panagia, and the ecclesiastical-folklore museum.As one walks around the picturesque paths one gets to know the whole village. On can take short walks to discover the beauty of the natural environment, enjoy the wonderful views of the blue sea and the inslets of the agean and the crystal clear clean sandy or pebble beaches. There are reasonably extensive roads on the island and it is possible to rent motobikes in order to get to know the whole island. Daily, day tours with smaller boats are available to the smaller islands in the region. One can discover unique beaches and caves swimming at each stop while soaking up the sun on the tour. At the restaurants and tavernas fresh fish, local goat meat dishes may be accompanied by organically grown vegetable dishes.Other locally produced products are cheese, wine, olive oil and honey, all organically or home made. How to arrive You can travel to Lipsi from Patmos by ferry boat to Patmos or Leros and then on to Lipsi by local boats or Flying Dolphins, daily. One may choose to travel by aeroplane to Leros, Kalymnos, Samos or Kos and then to lipsi by Flying Dolphins, katamaran or local boats the same day. There are daily connections from Lipsi to Patmos, Leros, Kalymnos, Samos and Kos and 2-3 times a week connection to Rhodes.
