Mavromichalai stands proudly at the center of Limeni and offers its visitors a combination of contemporary luxury with traditional Mani aesthetics. The room’s architecture reflects the frugality of the local tradition which is based on stone and wood. The hotel offers 6 rooms, all with unobstructed view to the picturesque bay and the village of Limeni. All rooms are strictly non-smoking. SERVICES Breakfast: Rich aromatic coffee, freshly baked local bread from the traditional bakery of Areopolis, variety of delicatessen, biscuits, cakes, freshly squeezed juices, marmalades, yogurts, season fruits and unique local goodies, compose our good morning to the visitor. Breakfast is served in the dinning room, in the occupants rooms or at the hotel balcony (summer only) between 8:00 and 10:30 in the morning. BAR: The hotel bar is open from early morning till late night. The bar is situated in the dinning room and is strictly non-smoking. The visitor can enjoy the services and products that the bar offers, also on the outside areas of the tower-house. The opening hours of the bar for non-hotel occupants, is from 10:30 in the morning till 22:30 in the night. HOTEL AREAS Reception: The stone-made lounge and reception area of the tower-house constitute the small cultural-museum corner of the hotel. Opposite to the entrance of the hotel, discover Petrobeis painting (exact copy of the one exhibited at the National War Museum in Athens), as well as the genealogic tree of the Mavromichalai family. Observe the old pictures and gravures of the era, read a historic book discovering the Mani area, let your mind travel, within a warm and hospitable place, to the labyrinth of the Laconic history. Breakfast Area: The dinning room serving breakfast is located in the ground floor of the tower-house and it is the beginning of the daily living experience at “Mavromichalai”, as well as the first point of contact of the occupants. Discover the amazing multi-colored wooded tables, the unique furniture, and the astonishing decoration, and enjoy the fresh traditional breakfast that we prepare daily. Outside Areas: Every corner of the tower-house is a new discovery for the visitor. The stone-arch which stands opposite to the “Mavromichalis Palace”, calls you to relax during the morning coffee or the night cup. Enjoy the magical sunset from the amazing balcony of the hotel, which seams to “swing” over the sharp rock and let yourself indulge into the surrounding serenity, observing the picturesque Limeni bay and the historic village.
