Pramataris hotel is situated next to the beach, in front of the beach Kakavos which is the main beach in Monemvasia, in a superb location overlooking the Rock of Monemvasia. It is a traditional, two-storey building, just before the bridge leading to the castle of Monemvasia and is an ideal place for holidays all year round.

HOW TO REACH MONEMVASIA
We are 300km from Athens, 90km from Sparta and 70km from Gytheio.
1. From Athens you take the highway to Athens, Corinthos, Peloponnese.
2. Take the national road Corinthos - Tripoli and then the Tripoli - Sparta highway.
3. 15 km after Sparta there is an interchange to Monemvasia (marked on as Monemvasia - Gytheio).
4. You pass the villages of Skala, Vlachiotis, Molai, Sikia and after about 10 km from Sikia the Myrtoo Sea and the imposing rock of Monemvasia appear in front of you.
5. Pass the settlements Pori and St. Sunday and after 2km you are in the magnificent and imposing Monemvasia.

Starting from Monemvasia you can visit and explore the surrounding villages and sandy beaches.
Agios Ioannis: A quiet village, 5 km from Monemvasia with superb restaurants and amazing appetizers.Try the famous koltsounia, the gogklies (homemade, handmade pasta), rooster, braised and grilled with delicious local meats.
Gerakas Port: A unique fiodr, one of the largest natural harbors in Greece, which forms an important wetland, lagoon, which hosts rare birds. Gerakas with its port, the Port Geraka are one of the most picturesque villages of Laconia.The houses, the island colors, taverns, and the tranquil waters of the enclosed lagoon is a landscape that will surely impress you.
Kyparissi: A picturesque village with beautiful beaches, known as a holiday destination of Princess Diana.
Kastania Cave: The terrestrial cave ranked second of its kind across Europe and has a great diversity of formations, shapes and colors. Nature took three million years to create the incomparable decoration.(Approximately 80 minutes from Monemvasia - you can visit daily from 10:00 to 18:00).
Plytra: Beautiful resort with sandy beach and taverns. Near the ancient city of Asopos, which sank in 375m.Ch. by a powerful earthquake. The ancient city is distinguished as you walk the rocks near the beach Pachiammou.The most impressive part of the underwater city is visible to the naked eye (20 minutes from Monemvasia).
Neapoli: A small coastal town with a huge sandy beach. Worth a stroll at dusk in the pedestrian seaside street.
Elafonissos: Small island, across from Neapolis. You can reach the island through small ferries that route every day and very often. On the island you can find unique beaches with exotic color and one of the most famous and beautiful beaches (Simos beach) of the Mediterranean with crystal clear turquoise waters (60 minutes from Monemvasia).
BEACHES
Monemvasia -Kakavos - Votsalo
The beach with pebbles and clear water at the left of the bridge against the backdrop of the castle of Monemvasia. It is the main beach of Monemvasia and is located right in front of the hotel. In this beach you will have the convenience of direct access to nearby coffee bar and restaurants.
Monemvasia Castle - Kourkoula
Outside the castle, there is Kourkoula reminiscent of a swimming pool and is protected by three points.
Portelo
If you warm the ups and downs in the streets of the castle of Monemvasia, Portelo exists just beneath the wall that opens onto a small rock band.
Outside Monemvasia
Xifias Beach: Beautiful sandy beach south of Monemvasia (about 6 km).
Ampelakia Beach: Great beach area at the exit of Monemvasia to Neapoli with fine gravel (about 5 km from the hotel). The area has in turn bays ideal for swimming, while the region has several taverns.
Pori Beach: Great beach area at the exit of Monemvasia to Sparta (about 3 km from the hotel). It combines the shade of many trees and pine trees in the clean sea. Ideal for water sports, has several tavernas overlooking the Myrtoo sea, the rock of Monemvasia and the old town of Monemvasia.
Vlychada and Balogkeri: Near the village Reichia in Zarakas municipality, there are two stunning beaches. Vlychada Beach is an incredible big white beach surrounded by forested slopes. The Balogkeri is an enclosed bay surrounded by cliffs.The water is green and cold and the scene without a trace of tourism use (approximately 30 km).
Kyparissi: It has three beaches - Little Sand with pebbles and water deeply, Saint Sunday which is the most beautiful beach with green water (up to Princess Diana had discovered) and the Great Sand, sandy with crystal clear waters.The village is situated in a beautiful and isolated countryside 50 km from Monemvasia.
Plytra: Beautiful sandy beach with shallow waters, been awarded with the blue flag (20 km).
Neapoli Beach: Huge beach with clear water that stretches in front of the town (30 km).
Simos Beach: One of the most beautiful Greek beaches in Elafonisos, a small island across from Neapoli. Clear, turquoise waters and sand dunes with cedar trees.
