Built in altitude 600 m., within reach from the unique archeological site of Mystas, in a verdant area with many springs at the village Pikoulianika, with easy access from Sparta, “Mazaraki’s Guesthouse” denotes with imagination the uniqueness of the laconic landscape. From the earthy atmosphere of the “Stahi” to the authentically relaxing country side of “Elia”, each of the seven suites of “Mazaraki’s Guesthouse”, tells a story of the Greek land combining the unpretentious relaxation of a country house with the warmth of a little hotel with its own aspect. The special concept of the architecture George Giaxolgou and of the awarded set designer Eleni Manolopoulou, who was in charge of the interior decoration, have left their mark on the rooms, taking care of every little detail. All the residences share the same incomparable view – from the village of Mystras to the Mount Taygetos and the valley of the river Eurotas – from their balconies. There are 3 studios of 45 sq.mtrs. and 3 suites of 60 sq.mtrs offering independent bedrooms, a living room lounge with kitchen, fireplace and sizable verandas, suitable for 2-5 people. There is also a 120sq.m two storey residence, catering for 7-9 people with 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens and 2 fireplaces available upon request. SERVICES The guest house director will be at your service at all times. You may be provided with a range fine wines from our cellar , mountain bikes .Wood for your fireplace may be delivered, in addition to DVD’s, board games as well as information for local fine cuisine or nightlife. WIFI access is also available. The day begins with fine delicacies that you take off the basket, one by one. You can have the basket to your room any time you ask for it. It contains fresh-baked pies, handmade jams, farmhouse eggs, oranges, olives, hand-kneaded bread, local yogurt, cookies, cakes etc. A complete meal with local recipes, using organic products from the garden of the “Guesthouse” and hand-picked wines from Lakonia and the rest of Peloponnese, can be offered after agreement. A breathtaking view, great hospitality and a natural beautiful landscape are few of the many things the Mazaraki Guesthouse in Mystras can offer you. ROUTES The location of the “Guesthouse” is suitable for explorations as many signaled passages for mountain cycling, hiking, rappel, begin here. At 8 kilometres, there is the climbing park of Taygetos for those initiated in climbing. The employers of “Mazaraki’s Guesthouse” are always willing to organize sorties to nature with the help of experienced guides, or just providing the guests with bicycles and the necessary advice. The castle of Mystras, the Olive Museum, the Koumantario’s Art Gallery, the ancient Sparta, the Archeological museum of Sparta are some of the places that are worth visiting.
